Who We Are
The Donauschwaben are ethnic Germans that lived outside of Germany in the Slavic regions of Eastern Europe predominately along the Danube River. The purpose of the United Donauschwaben of Milwaukee is to keep the Donauschwaben heritage alive while promoting the language, foods and customs to the public at large.
The UDoM has something for all seasons! Whether enjoying the merriment of good food, beer and great company at our traditional Schlachtfest or raising your stein at our annual Oktoberfest — you are sure to have a fantastic time! All events take place at our clubhouse, The Schwabenhof, and are open to the public. We look forward to seeing you there soon!
